Annie Hartel was our foreign exchange student from Munich in 1994. We fell in love with her. We called her Annie Steen by the end of the summer. We were so fortunate to be able to visit with her and her parents a few times in the next few years but lost touch for a while. In the fall of 2011 Jac spent a semester in London and we finally got to see Annie again after more than 14 years!! I pray that we never go that long again without seeing her! Annie emailed last night to let us know that she will be meeting us in Barcelona. Now how much fun is that!! She has spent some time there and knows the city well. I can't wait to get there to see her!! My long lost daughter!!!
